Many offices have relaxed dress codes… or simply no dress code, you still need to remember that you are a professional, 24/7... Even if you’re going from work to drinks or to the gym, it’s not just about you feeling comfortable in your “weekend clothes” but you want to make sure your co-workers feel comfortable, too. It’s important to ask the company you’re starting at what are the norms and expectations, and if it’s industry-specific.
